The Day & Ross Transportation Group, formally Day & Ross Inc., was launched June 6, 1950, when one truck was contracted to haul potatoes from New Brunswick to Quebec. Today, the Group maintains a fleet of 3300 vehicles and trailers, has over 4100 employees and owner operators, and more than 80 terminals and other operations across Canada and the United States.
Considered one of the largest transportation firms in Canada, The Day & Ross Group offers a wide range of transportation services managed by five functional divisions, Day & Ross Inc., Sameday Right-O-Way, Fastrax Transportation, McCain Transport and Dedicated Contract Logistics. Day & Ross(Nfld.)Ltd. is a separate operating division responsible for all Day & Ross Inc. and Sameday Right-O-Way activities in Newfoundland.
