The Day & Ross Transportation Group, formally Day & Ross Inc., was launched June 6, 1950, when one truck was contracted to haul potatoes from New Brunswick to Quebec. Today, the Group maintains a fleet of 3300 vehicles and trailers, has over 4100 employees and owner operators, and more than 80 terminals and other operations across Canada and the United States.

Day & Ross(Nfld.)Ltd. is a separate operating division responsible for all Day & Ross Inc. and Sameday Right-O-Way activities in Newfoundland.
