Fastrax Transportation

Established in June 1979 Fastrax is the full load division of the group with independent terminals in Calgary, Winnipeg, Toronto, Florenceville (head office) and Truro. Fastrax with their 300+ tractors, provide, refrigerated (both road and intermodal), van, heated tridem, container drayage, step-deck, flatbed, heavy haul and car carrier services. Each type of service has its own unique characteristics and, as such, has their own operations people dedicated to that mode.

Fastrax provides service throughout Canada and the United States in varied markets that are distinct within the Group; Reefer (refrigerated), van, stepdeck, flatbed and heavy haul within Canada and the United States. Intermodal is within Canada only, Heated Tridem/Auto Carrier is between Ontario and Eastern Canada and then Container Drayage services within the Maritimes.

Core Competencies

We have recruited and developed experts in each mode we offer. We have very few generalists in operations. Fastrax provides quality truckload services as a large truckload fleet but with a small company feel.

By providing a diversity of products, many of our customers utilize two or more of our products. The ability to one stop shop with an asset-based carrier is unique. Customers like the large fleet access but small company feel.
